This powder has very little odor when cooked. I was using frozen oysters from Korea in one recipe and I didn’t like the smell while cooking or cooked. My dogs are less fussy than me, though. ; ) I am more comfortable using this powder than using imported, frozen, oysters and it is easier to use.

I honestly got tired of trying to source fresh oysters for the recipes included in the Dogstable cookbook. This powder makes it easier. From measuring to storing, I don’t have to worry about using it before it expires ( the powder has a longer shelf life) and it takes up less storage space. It blends easily and I don’t have to worry about chopping it up so it can blend nicely with the rest of the ingredients in a recipe. So far I’ve been enjoying experimenting in the kitchen while using it.
When you open this, it smells like real oysters. Not faint, not kinda, really oyster-y! 😍 It smells so fresh I almost want to use it like dashi for myself!! lol! I’ve added it to a number of meals for my Hana and Sophie, big girls, and they love it. 🥰 I use this along with their other powders and my girls are big fans. I’ve noticed their fur and 💩 looking healthier. Def will be ordering more of everything!
Have used it in my pets, Pomeranians food, just a pinch between my fingers on their food as it is costly. Have read things about it so I tried it, I am sure the pups like it I put it on their food as a topper but they will eat about any toppers I put on it. Can't say for certain if it work, the reviews says it does. But so far so good, thanks
Arrived quickly. I think the product is fine and is of high quality but my dog won’t eat anything with oyster powder in it. Have tried several recipes in The Dog’s Table cookbook. Dog won’t touch anything with oyster powder in it (but is loving other recipes without oyster powder in the cookbook).
